Not sure if anyone was paying much attention to the opening credits on last nights show

Tana's face understandably has dissappeared and 2 new faces were present.

It looks like the 2x new presenters are Silvano Franco and Jun Tanaka

which i don't think many will have a problem with.

I only saw Jun's pic....I'll watch it tonight from the start because if Silvana is now one of the presenters then....YAYY!!!!!!!

Jun Tanaka is just delicious & Silvana is just well, one of The Best!!!!

MK will finally have a complete watchable presenters...they only have to get RID NOW MATT TEBUTT & THAT HENRY WOMAN!!!!

Diane Henry's pic has been replaced with Jun Tanaka.
I am thrilled Silvana is joining, a talented cook and a great presenter. Just what the show needs.
I may be the only one but I liked Diane Henry and am pretty sad to see her go. I thought she was a knowledgable cook and I liked her bubbly personality. Hopefully she will be back for guest shots.
Here is hoping MK goes from strength to strength.

On the Market Kitchen page they currently have 6 presenters listed, not sure what is going on.

Perhaps a new twist on the old saying that: "too many cooks spoil the broth"?

I am delighted that tana has gone, though I thought her recipies were ok.

I am delighted silvana is on the show... she will show the boys how to make some healthy food that won't give you an early heart attack. (naughty tpb and his beef dripping). I also love Jun.

My perfect line up would be Silvana, Jun, TPB and Clodagh Mckenna then there would be two girls and two boys, much better.

As much as I love TPB & MF I was hoping Sylvana &/or Jun will be on tonight!

Wonder when they'll be appearing, if only there is an advance schedule for presenters....

Not actually presenting he hasn't. He has been as guest chef & cooking at the market but I want to see him actually presenting this time.

so what makes you think seeing his picture in the opening is going to mean anything different?

Tana, Diane, Matt (not sure of TPB or Matthew) granted have all cooked at the market BUT they are also PRESENTERS OF THE SHOW in the studio hence the pictures.....or have you not notice that at all???

You don't see pictures of Aaron, the Irish lady, or that other chef, can't remember his name in the opening credits, do you? And that's because they are guest chefs/cooks either at the market or in the studio BUT not actual presenters of the show.

i would like to see Tom Parker Bowls gone , and Matthew Fort ,the others are ok.Silvano Franco is quite nice and Jauna seems nice too.who knows, they need someone to put a bit of a lively spark into the show anyway, the show is good with interesting items in it.

What has happenned to Diana Henry, a big fuss was made when Tana Ramsey left. I liked the quirky charm of Diana. Has she left ?

Diana's name is not on the presenters list anymore. Maybe they have not renewed her contract and Diana has prefered not to have the "leaving doo" on TV.

I wonder if that is it now or if anymore are going. Hope not I like the ones that are left from the original team.

Is it only me? why on earth have they got that Aggie woman on Market Kitchen, she cant cook, her voice goes through you & she is so boring, are they hard up for people to go on there or something. There must be plenty of cooks/chefs that would love to do the show.

Does anyone else agree with me?????

I originally thought "What on earth" at first, but found myself interested in what she was doing. I thought it was funny the way her face was screwing up at what looked like distate but was probably the spitting oil.

I haven't been sure about John, but when I saw that recipe for fried potato cake with horrid sweet stuff on top I thought Ugh. I was impressed with John's honesty about it and I liked that if he thinks it is awful he says so. It would have been more in keeping with an egg on top and he actually said what I was thinking.

I hope to see more of him as I am still undecided about him too. Not having a decisive day am I.

Jun is definitely a step in the right direction - just keep walking. :-)

Well it was good to see Merrilees again, she's such a knowledgable cook and asks questions for home cooks,so it might be nice to see her on as a presenter more often ,she did quiie well in that BBC 2 progam full on food progam.

Merrilees would be great - she's witty, cooky and sexy, and seems to work well with Jun.

I watched a bit of it this week, and for the first time, the show seemed hosted by real people who have cooking in their bones and know what they are talking about, and have their feet on the ground.

If they get the hosts right and involve the visitors more actively in the cooking, perhaps running daily competitions for three or four of the guests who might be trying out new ways of doing things, then it might turn into a far more watchable program.

I'm afraid watching ex Eatonians cook up their favourite quirky meal is just a turn-off for me.

Food critics, and professional cooks, are two entirley different beings, as far as I'm concerned.

I think Jun has brought a breath of fresh air in to the Market Kitchen after only a couple of days.

Compared to Matthew Fort last week,,who when presenting his food,,is very full of himself,smug and shouts from the roof tops about his food. Jun on the other hand is calmer and simply lets his food do the talking.

Merrilees is always fun,,i agree she would make a good Market Kitchen presnter sometime in the future

Full On food was a very good program,,shame it ended when it did. anyone know why it ended,,i presume it simply didn't get the viewing figures.

It was great to see Merrilees back on TV, good cook, funny and sexy ( though I'm not sure why - she just is )
