I agree about tripe, Doug. Delicious! As is andouilette, aussi! Big Grin

But thanks for those links, some new recipes I will definitely try!

I'm not sure exactly what Martin was trying to say, a bit obvious isn't it?

Oh the reference to Andouillette brings back a funny story of being in Paris with a dear friend and seeing it on the menu - had to order it. I actually enjoy it greatly.

Seeing that I was not French the waiter protested "Oh, monsieur, it is very strong!" To which I replied, Oui, oui, je sais. Off he went.

Unfortunately my guest did not know this dish, but she went on to order steak frites or something.

Then our dishes arrive and she clearly wasn't familiar with the distinctive aroma of this sausage. We've known each other for years so she felt no inhibition and shouted "you've farted". We were both SO embarrassed.

I still laugh about it to this day but only order it now when dining alone!! Big Grin Big Grin

Very funny OM. Big Grin I know EXACTLY the aroma of that sausage. I could never bring myself to order such a dish, much less eat it Eek
