Thank you all for your help, I managed to find some from a company called Kings Fine Food, they sell small bottles of it in a 3 pack of lemon, Orange & Lime oil it was pricey but as you only need a drop or two it shouldn't work out to badly.

Many thanks and Merry Christmas

Lakeland used to sell it, but they don't list it as one of their products now. Here is a link to buy mail order. If you have a look around the site you can buy mini bottles of lemon, orange and lime oil, or just the lemon oil alone. I don't remember it being so expensive at Lakeland maybe it is a larger bottle.

Alternatievely here is a recipe to make your own. I've never tried it though

Lemon oil is very strong and you would only need a few drops in a recipe I'm sure. So you could just add a little more zest.

Hoping this helps.

Yes, I tried both those aisles today.

The receipe is 'Prawns in a Lemon and Parsley dressing.'

Which consists of Prawns, Olive oil, Sunflower oil, Garlic Puree, Lemon Juice, cracked black pepper, parsley and Lemon Oil.

I suppose the Lemon oil is to strengthen the taste as well as the Lemon juice.

Hi Judy G, Have you tried the "special" section where they have all the international stuff? Or even the baking section I suppose.

What's the recipe you have? Could there be an alternative?
