To make your own OK sauce you will need 1cup tomato Ketchup.
1Cup sugar. 1/2 cup brown sauce(HP preferably). 1- 1/2 tsp chinese 5 spice powder.
Place all ingrediants into a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil. stir for 1 min and then turn heat down low and simmer for 10 mins making sure sauce does not stick to bottom of pan or burn. It should by now have thickened into a sticky sauce.
Store in a glass Jar and let go cold before putting lid on.
To make a sauce for cooking Take 1 tbl spoon of thick sauce and add 1 cup of water and simmer in a pan. In a small dish place 1 tbl spoon of corn flour and 2 tbl spoons of water and mix well.
Add cornflour mix slowly into sauce while stiring until it starts to thicken. If you like a chilli sauce add a few drops of sweet chilli sauce to taste. You can marinate your meats in this sauce, or place cooked meat and heat up well in the OK sauce I get all my ingrediants from my local chinese cash and carry but they can be bought from most big supermarkets........ enjoy!!!!!
