I have watched this programme avidly from day one,but I am a newcomer regarding this chat line.The point I am trying to make is that, is there a Jeni Barnett fan club?If not, then let's start one! What a fabulous host.

Hi Peter, welcome to the message boards. Have to agree with you about Jeni - she's fantastic isn't she? I don't know whether there's an "official" Jeni Barnett fan club but as Jill has already mentioned you could always start one up here on the message boards.

Jeni is just amazing funny friendly down to earth and extremely attractive. (Coming from a gay man that says something) However there is one thing I'd love to know and that is if thered ever be a chance in hell of little old average me getting on the show and cooking something of my own creation. (Although have a xxxx good idea what the answer would be)

Who in there right mind would give up such an opportunity for one of the best presenters on TV. Fantastic, bubbly and for once on TV a truly genuine presenter.

Hi! I agree, Jeni is a wonderful person and a fabulous presenter. I went to the show in the days when GFL had an audience on a Friday. Like any good star-struk foodies, my friend and I hung around after GFL, (while they recorded 'Bites') and waited for Jeni. She was so welcoming, chatty, and really seemed genuinely pleased that people wanted to meet her and enjoyed her work as much as she did. We took some photos to remember the day. It was brilliant. Why is she not DAME JENI?

Yes I heartily agree, in these days of size zero models Jeni represents the true face - and figure - of modern women who can be attractive, intelligent and alluring without nibbling on lettuce leaves. Her clothes sense is sexy yet sensible, and she is a walking advert for the rest of us to stop hiding behind black tents and celebrate our curvacious (?) figures which other stick-insects have to emulate with silicone implants!!
