Hiya everybody, I was just wondering wether I completely made this up in my head, or was there in fact a programme of Ready Steady Cook when Robbie Williams went on and took fish fingers with him?Ive been told about it, im sure. Hope ya can help. HELP!!!!!!!!!!! doc

Think you must have been having a funny five minutes Martin! The only time I remember fish fingers being on Celebrity RSC was when Shane Ritchie brought them (Tony Toby was the chef I think). Can't remember ever seeing Robbie Williams on the prog (and I think I would have!!!!)

I really am sure that Mr Williams was on a celeb show once. Partly through memory and partly through what I have been told. Being a huge fan of the programme I understandably am very upset not to have seen this one.

I don't recall ever seeing (or hearing about) Robbie Williams on the show. I remember the one with Shane Ritchie and the fish fingers but as for Robbie......well, that's one I wouldn't want to miss! LOL

Ok,Ok.I'll have to bend under serious pressure from the obvious millions of ready steady robbie fans. Cant see how id get RW and Shane Ritchie mixed up though!!!!! Although they have both been on Eastenders. Or was I dreamin that too????????

Ok martin I have it on fairly good authority that RW was in 1 episode of Eastenders just after he left Take That and of course Shane is in it now.
But don't think either of them have produced fish fingers

Shane Ritchie was definately on the show and did bring fish fingers! I remember he messed about the whole time and drove everyone else potty but he was funny!

Martin - I was going to say you must have been dreaming until Karen said that Robbie had been on Eastenders! I can't remember it so I'm taking your word for it Karen! LOL

Well my fairly reliable informant tells me that it was a very small "cameo" role - in fact Robbie was using the public phone in the Queen Vic - and as the camera panned round Robbie turned to the camera and winked. So if you blinked you would have missed it, but there was a fair amount of publicity about it at the time, but of course it was only just after he left Take That and before he proved himself to be the solo star we now know and love.
