hi, i am thinking about becoming a vegetarian and was wondering if any of you know any good vegetarain forums that i can have a look at to get some information about health and stuff, id be so greatful if you can help x

The vegetarian Society is probably the best.
Been veggie for many years and couldn't contemplate ever being a carnivore.

they have loads of great recipes for all occaisions and loads of brilliant info about becoming a vegetarian.

Some good links here, The vegetarian Society is a useful one. Might be a good idea to do it as a trial fo4r a week or so to see how you go. Once you take the step it is quite easy, and there are a huge number of alternatives to meat out there.it's very much trial and error, some things you like others you don't. We have been veggies for over 25 years now, and it is so much easier these days, in the early days there wasn't even Vege Mince, and certainly no Quorn.
Have a look at some Vegetarian books in the library, usually they have loads, but don't let them put you off, life is a lot more than just a load of Lentils and Tofu!
Celia Brooks Brown on here is a good source for recipes too, her Oven Roasted Hot-Pot is gorgeous.
