I hope everyone is very well today, even though its raining and pretty miserable here in the uk , but a good day for cooking.

Have you tried Ina receipe for bbq chicken, and the noodle salad she made to have down at the beach?

I can highly recommend the chicken, i didnt bbq it,i griddled it, but it was so juicy and tender too, i marinated it overnight though.

I love this show, havnt seen a receipe yet i dont want to try lol

hi i like her too, not tried her recipes,there is a Every Day Italian cook on as well and had a lovely recipe for left over mashed potatoes. They seem to get very lovely ingredients like those big lemons,and its interesting to see how Americans shop and what shops they use.

I use left over mash for homemade fishcakes,what were they used for in the show please?

I love the amazing produce the barefoot contessa has ready access too, really plump juicy berries, lemons the size of melons!! even the florists looks amazing, and i would spend all day in loaves and fishes too lol

I have some american cookbooks and some cups to measure ingredients, do you use these?i cannot convert into english measures you see, it takes me ages lol

Il ove their really open plan, really light spacy kitchens too, irealise not everyones kitchen is that big and airy but it makes such enjoyable viewing

I can dream, 1 day my kitchen will be that gorgeous
