PB, this show goes from new low to new low. Where are they getting these "guest chefs"???

I simply cannot understand why they don't put this show out of its misery and cancel it. The amount of dollars they are dumpng into this is absolutely ridiculous.

Total rubbish.

Yup ReedW just seen your message re Boring Rhodes too - this entire channel is getting worse and worse and what a pity as there are so many keen foodies out there wanting to watch decent progs. All we seem to get are repeats and totally and utter rubbish like MK. I think we should all give up and boycott the entire channel!!!!!!!!!! Angry Angry

IMPO the best chef this series has had was last week with Mark Broadbent (previously been on the Beebs Great British Menu). Until last week I had never watched a Market Kitchen fully but last week I watched every single one! He brought some much need humour to it all and gave this lack lusture show some sparkle. Maybe UKTV should look at doing a show with him on it.

I only caught one programme where Mark Broadbent was on but agree that he brought a twinkle to that particular one. It was the one where the young lad almost sliced his fingers while chopping the onion - Mark was very quick to step in and finish the job.

Chopping the onions not slicing his fingers that is.

Pocket Battelship, I absolutely do detect somthing has changed very recenetly on Market Kitchen as to how they choose the guest chefs.

The results are varied - IMHO - as Mark Broadbent seemed quite good in leading the presenters along (yes, I realise that's backwards!) - - - but these last two?? For goodness sake, that was terrible!! Eek

A actually enjoyed the Hart Bros because of the food they cooked. But the range of chefs is a bit wanting at times.

I would like to see the return of some of the Great Food Live talent, including Frank Bordoni, Martin Blunos, Gino D'Acampo, Brian Turner and many, many others. They added life and spirit to the GFL programme and MK could do well to start using many of them on the show in the new season.
