Last weekend was the first time & I actually managed to watch some of Market Kitchen show & only because I like Angela & also because I thought Matt & Tom are watchable......and they did not disappoint me.

Ok I said some as I still cannot sit down for a full hour of each episode because there are still some awful & unbearable segments of the show that just doesn't work for me.

But these 3 are good combination to have on MK - they have chemistry & certainly their presenting style/skills are more fun to watch than those other 2 hopeless duo - TANA & the other MATT - they really got to be REPLACED

I watch MKextra every morning and I think it's entertaining. I have to say though, more so when Tom and Matthew are on, they both seem to have a natural wit and rapport. Angela also played her part and they were all enjoying themselves. The public were also good to watch - they didn't seem to be there just to make up numbers but actually learnt something and were made comfortable enough to interact naturally rather than look to be told to do and say something for effect, and were really pleased with their efforts and the encouraging comments from a top chef.
Judging from comments made previously regarding improvements that could be made, there is not so much if any background noise now, the masterclass competetiveness seems also to be less. Although I think Tom and Matthew enjoy it and have kept it in their weeks. But Tana and Matts' weeks, I noticed, not so much. And other little things have improved from the 1st shows - I believe so anyway. Smile Smile

Watching Jo Pratt make trifle in the lunch time show. I would never have thought about using Pimms in a trifle, or any cooking come to that.

Biscotti, lots of good fresh fruit and Sherry in the cream too!

I'll be trying that one.

Matthew, Tom and Angela are very entertaining and work well together.

Smile

I thought they were a good team too and agree with everything said above. Always find something interesting on MK. The balsamic testing was good, although they nearly needed a pair of tweezers each to pick up the samples Big Grin

Matt and Tom are a good team together, I agree. It might work if these two present the programme. They get on well, and compliment each other. They ask the right questions, and are easy on the eye. (what ever that means) Smile

Cornetto - may I complete your sentence below for you:

Matt and Tom are a good team together, I agree. It might work if these two present the programme FULL TIME! Smile
