Whole message boards have gone missing. What was the GFL board that had become the unofficial MK board has gone. No official MK board at all when it's by far the biggest topic ever.

Posts appearing, disappearing and appearing again. Bizarre. Posts that are headlined, are not there when you click on them but can be read if you go the author's name route. What's happening?

Conch.
UKTV Food posted a note advising that the GFL message board would be deleted from 30 April? I've noticed that some messages put on one notice board suddenly appear as another topic 'board'
I do agree with you that something is clearly wrong, but unfortunately the UKTV Food people have shown no respect as to the hundreds of views regarding the dimise of 'Good Food Live' and our disgust at it's replacement 'Market Kitchen'

It beggars belief that they obviously have no intention of making any kind of statement to give us some clue as to why this awful programme has been booked for 1000 hours over the next twelve months.

Finally! I've also noticed that the regular, loyal GFL Viwers have even stopped placing anymore messages on the website (What's the point)

Anyway must get off to my kitchen as I'm making Seafood platter followed by fresh orange and lemon pancakes for tonights meal (just a little menu I learned from GFL)
Regards to ALL.

I think maybe the moderators of this site have got a bit nervous about the sheer volume of venom poured out about MK. I just hope it is all fed back to where it does some good. From reading some of the posts it appears that a lot of people who do not normally write in to message boards have felt driven to do so.

I've just had the first line of one of my Market Kitchen posts censored as I was watching.

My post popped up.

It referred to the post before mine.

Then I noticed that the post before mine had vanished.

Then I posted to explain that I was referring to a post that had vanished.

Then I noticed that my original post had had the first sentence referring to the other person's post taken off!

This strikes me as very strange moderator behaviour as I could see nothing controversial in the other poster's original post.

Or if it was controversial (in being critical of MK) then so are 95% of posts on this board.

Hi Goldbloom, yes I saw it was going to go. Now it's back this morning!

Had the same problem last night as the night before where I was unable to read recent posts unless I went via author.

Also the leading topic on the summary of message boards had changed to 'support Market Kitchen' even though it was an old posting and the responses to the original post were negative. It really made me think that the boards are being manipulated in an attempt to stem the tide of dismay (polite term) and I agree with kahulakarma's comments.

Suggest you all head over to the GFL message board - there is an official update by the people at UKTV Food posted a few minutes ago....it seems they "do" listen to our likes and dislikes after all!
Thankfully they are not going to delete the recipes and video clips from GFL, which is more than can said about some post's that appear to go "missing"!!

Don't bother to comlain about deleted posts - no-one's lsitening!

I have sent emails to UKTV about it - they don't even bother to reply. Many of my posts have just disappeared, none of them broke the 'rules'. They were not offensive but they did criticise that dire offering they call Market Kitchen. I don't suggest they bring back GFL, I was never that big a fan, but this latest 'celebrity by association' rubbish is the most hypocrital thing I've seen in a long time.

Guess this will be deleted too....Ah well.......
