I,ve watched market garden a couple of times and turned it off,its so boring,at least with gfl you had the live show and well known chefs who i miss,unless i watch daily cooks on itv every day.But i do miss jeni,she was livelynot like gordon ramsey,s mrs.

I agree, I miss Great Food Live!!! I'm giving Market Garden a chance but I agree it's rather wooden. Bring back GFL please.

I like the new program, and i am glad they actualy have some top chefs on there eg Mark Sergant, and not the usual seudo chefs that used to apper on Great Food Live eg Merrilees Parker, Gino D'Acampo, Jo Pratt, Alan Coxon etc etc, but having said that as nice a person as she appears to be, Tana Ramsay is not a natural in front of the camera, and looks to wooden, i say let Jenny Barnet host it, and it would be ten times better, if you ask me

Yes - Carol cake - the company who is producing it called Optomen also did The F word and Gordon Ramsays Nightmares - so maybe they thought they could just walk in and take off with all the GFL fans - well it hasnt worked!

I could not agree more!, they even put "wife of Gordon Ramsay" in the advertising bumph as they know not many people would have a clue who she is! It is wooden and boring and they can't hold a debate to save their lives, and the guests they have had on so far look very confused and unsure of what is happening. Jenny really knew how to put people at ease but was also the queen of the putdown when necessary! Bring back Jenny - please!!!!!!

i've only watched twice but that was more than enough - the noise level!, no personality, very stiff and predictable - I want Jenny back, pleeaase!!!

Please, please bring back Jenny! This is the first email/letter I have written about a TV programme but someone has to say how bad the new Market Kitchen is.

I dont like market kitchen either although I did like Mark Sageant last week. The programme is to bitty and abrupt, seem staged...perhaps Jenni should be one of the presenters...at least she is friendly!

Bring back Jenny. This Market thing is dull and patronising. As far as I can see totally humourless. I haven't been able to last an episode yet.

I am still absolutely amazed that GFL, more Jenny Barnett, has been taken off. The formula was such a winner and it was so much Jenny's show, what a fantastic presenter. Six o'clock in the evening, after work was a great sit down time to watch GFL; always great for new info and a laugh.
I have managed to watch about 3 minutes of the new market kitchen and think it is absolutely awful, presenters shouldn't cook and the style is like a children's classroom.

Cooking programes are also about entertainment Jenny Barnet is a professional at providing that extra something. Taking Jenny off was a mistake

I think Jenni Barnet is a great presenter and and a natural in front of the camera and UKTVFOOD is a worse place for her not being on there, but if i am being honest, Great Food Live, for the most part, as a program had sucked for at least the last year, and had gone very stale if you ask me, because the same old faces kept appearing on there each day, and they were doing the same tired old food, and that is what probably killed the show off at the end of the day eg there was a distinct lack of variaty in the program and that is what the powers at be probably thought when they gave the final coup de grace to Great Food Live as a program, and replaced it with Market Kitchen

I miss jenny, put her on Market kitchen Stir fried locust... yum are they available at sainsubrys? Have they lost the plot totally?

I miss Jenny so much I've kept the last programme on Sky+ watched it again last night and she just made me laugh and cheered me up. I received an email from UKTVFood when I compained about the show being cancelled and they promised that Jenni would be on another show. I agree that new Market Kitchen programme is rubbish it has no life to it, Jenni needs to be there to liven it up and to be Miss Cheeky.

I had UKTV food.co.uk as my homepage - I don't have that anymore since Jeni's gone. I'm only in just now to re-iterate ALL that has gone before. MK is rubbish. Jeni deserves to be back on GFL. Trouble is - it may be beneath her dignity to come back. She has PRIDE!!!!!! She should never have gone in the first place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
