I asked the same question a few weeks back and the general response was that he is teaching in Cyprus and France. Not sure if he will return to RSC some time in the future though. Fingers crossed!!

Have never seen Ready Steady Cook or Russ Burden but as a complete coincidence was told today, by someone who says she saw him, that he was even teaching in the Munich area some months ago, and if that is true he is obviously really travelling around at the moment.
So not much time for TV, at least for some months.

He was in the audience last Saturday on ITV Gameshow Marathon...screaming "down" "up" on The Price is Right!!

He still looks good actually with greying longish hair, bit of stubble, wearing suit no tie.

PS the person in the know is Mary in Australia, she has organised several of his gigs in Australia and had him stay at her house. She has always said he is lovely.

Well let's hope Mary is right. Would be a real shame if he spoiled all he worked for by over-doing the drink and insulting people. Didn't he used to read this message board?? Come on Ross, let us know what's going on. You still have plenty of fans out here.

Not only did he used to read it Girl Friday, he used to post, as Kiwichef, often and very helpfully. Unfortunately he got a little annoyed with the mods one night and his membership was withdrawn.

I would say to go to his website to check on him, but unfortunately it is never kept up to date so very misleading, but there is a facility there to leave him messages. I haven't tried it so can't say if it works or not.

Yes, he did post here often untill he fell out with the moderators. Such a shame as his posts were not only really helpfull but full of fun and tips.

Yes, I know what you mean about the website Eton Neat (love the name btw). Never tried to leave a message though. Perhaps I'll give it a go and see what happens. Will post if I get a response!!

I asked the same question a few months ago and the reply I got was that he was now out of contract. You can't even search for his recipes on this website now - his name is not listed - you have to know exactly what you are looking for and it takes forever to find. He is a great chef and so knowledgeable and passionate about food. Wonder we haven't seen him on Saturday Kitchen or that other one with AWT on ITV. Come on Ross lets have you back on the tele.
