Great British Food, Wednesday 9pm on Discovery Real Time. Tom Norrington-Davies (as seen on GFL/Food Uncut) produces a menu each week using the best regional ingredients and produce. Three episodes in and Tom seems a personable fella with a real passion for local food and produce...UKTV should have made this, again it seems the Discovery network is now the place to find the best new food shows....

there are also another two series of surfing the menu kicking about out there that uktvfood should have snapped up.

It annoys me that there are always so many repeats,sometimes it seems as if UKTV Food is just on a never ending loop.I want to watch something new and exciting,thankfully there's a new series of "Kitchen Nightmares " starting soon .( on A.N. Other channel !)

I have to agree with the last comment. At least there are a few new shows running at the moment - although I'm not too keen on Food Heroes and Gino de Campo. More new shows, please - and get the format right!
