Agree about Mike Robinson, just the wholesome sort of boy your Mum would love if you brought home ! Smile

Quite like Frank Bordoni too now - at first I didn't like the way he projected on GFL but his recipes are good & he is knowledgable

I get bored when ingredient lists that go beyond 7/8 items, so any chef who can produce something tasty with just a few ingredients will always win my vote. These include, Nigel Slater, Sylvena Rowe, Nigella, Lesley Waters and Paul Bloxham. Great chefs, good food for everyday and no fuss.

This is my first post on here for maybe 4 years, and there was a gent on here who used to be very good at answering questions and he was quite cute (I saw his picture on his website and I met him and his wife at a Country Fair in Poole Park, 3 years ago)

His name was nick, but alas I do not remember any more about him.

Apart from that I like Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay Hug Hug

Shaun Hill. The quiet genius. His move to Ludlow (from where he has now sadly moved) could be argued as the key moment in kick starting the national food "craze". His "How to Cook Better" book is an essential on anybody's bookshelf. Of the current Tv crop...Nigel Slater, Rick Stein, Nick Nairn, Paul Rankin, Lesley Waters and Merriless Parker.

Merrilees Parker - floats my boat big time. Would pay good money for a signed photo of her to frame and hang in my kitchen.

Please God make her read this post.

My fave chefs are James Martin, Brian Turner , NIck Nairn and Phil Vickery. All very versatile all like cooking with seasonal produce and all the dishes i have tried have been simple enough for me to cook!

So many favourites! I love watching Lotte Duncan, Frank Bordoni, Gino D'Acampo, Simon Rimmer, Maria Elia, Anjum Anand, Paul Hollywood, Ross Burden, Silvena Rowe, Ed Baines, Nick Nairn, James Martin, Brian Turner. I like watching chefs who inspire me to try following their recipes. (Being a kitchen numpty the recipes can't look too complicated or I won't even bother Big Grin )

Wink Hi my fav chef is James Martin, he is very very interesting and keeps you glued to the TV screen, also I find he is clean and tidy with whatever he is using, he washes his hands quite regularly after touching food of different types, which I find other chefs lack. He also explains everything quite plainly as he goes along. The worst chef is Worrell Thompson he is useless, although I know he used to help James Martin but thankgoodness James Martin doesn't pick up his ways.
