Can anyone share a really nice cole slaw recipe with me?

I'm after one but I'm struggling to find one really, so I thought I'd ask to see what is about?

I add a teaspoonful or so of Dijon Mustard to the mayo too - gives it a bit of a peppery bite.

I use the following: simple but good!

Shredded white cabbage, onions and grated carrot mixed with equal quantities of mayo and salad cream. Add lemon juice and fresh chives to taste. Always a favourite at BBQs.

Mayo, lemon juice and seasoning. Shredded white cabbage, red onion, parsley and chopped roasted hazelnuts. Add tuna and mix through. Different but yummy!

for a slightly unusual twist you could add in sultanas or raisins with the apple. Tumeric gives it an interesting colour but obviously it's not very traditional Big Grin

I like to toss my coleslaw in sour cream and chives it makes a lovely change from mayo or salad cream.

lots of great ideas, thanks for that, I tried the basic one last week the missus was more than happy, so I'll try a bit mustard in the next one.
