Hopefully you will have some good ideas, having a party on saturday and got some great ideas from people on here for bits for it but really want a pasta sald but dont wanna do some thing naff that ends up being binner any ideas? oh it has to be cold too!

tuna and sweetcorn mixed in with cooked pasta spirals, spring onion,garlic. make upa dressing with mayonaise, squeeze lemon juice, tsp english mustard,salt/pepper to taste, give it all a good folding and sprinkle with fresh chopped herbs.
Also oven roasted vegetables mixed in with cooked pasta, using the juices as a dressing.

pasta shapes with whole basil leaves, rocket, toasted pine nuts, shavings of parmesan, some very finely chopped garlic and good olive oil, maybe with some torn mozzerella and olives on top

Cook your pasta (penne or curly tubes are good) and allow to cool. Meanwhile finely dice red onion, carrot and celery. Mix the veg with the pasta. Mix mayo with mango chutney,worcestershire sauce, some crushed chilli and s & p. Mix this with the pasta and veg. This stores well in the fridge and tastes even better the next day.
