they don't have much flavour, but if you want to try something tropical from tescos, try mangosteens, near the dragonfruit, slice the middle gently but not right through and eat the creamy (pods??) really nice, goes well with white chocolate.

you can get dragon fruit from waitrose around £2.00 -£3.00 depending all on size ive never tried them before but would like to Tongue Tongue Tongue

their nice to try but as i said above they don't have much flavour apart from sweetness but i would depently give it a try! i hear it's good in exotic fruit salads including mangos paw paw, pineapple etc but then sprinkled with sugar and rum. would be nice on a hot summer day! Big Grin

First came across them in Penang -Malaysia. Picked one off the bush on the fruit farm. A bit lacking in taste but good texture and served with mango sorbet- lovely!
Always a topic of conversation if you have a whole fruit on the table.
