Hi There

I saw this mentioned as an alternative to cider for the recipe sausages in cider and lemon thyme. I was wondering what perry was, what it tastes like, what else it can be used in and where can I buy it.

Thanks.

Perry is to pears what cider is to apples.

Most supermarkets will stock a perry.

Hi Gaspode

Thanks for your reply. Can perry be as strong in alcohol content as cider?

Thanks.

I don't use it much but my local Sainsbury's perry is 7.5%.
