I am dying to try this method of cooking a steak [www.coonass.com/sugarsteak.htm] but am not sure what Baker's sugar is? Suspect it may be caster sugar. Can any of our American friends out there help?!

Hi Missy Moo

Just done a quick google for you - try looking at www.bakerssugar.com.

Think it could be granulated sugar maybe?

Good luck with the steak by the way - it sounds great.

Hope this helps.

It's caster sugar! Use Billington's golden caster sugar.

Missy Moo Both above are 'correct' confused!? Bakers Sugar USA Term - Well Known brand defines as Ultrafine Granulated sugar. As 'what' my sis uses although says granulated in UK terms it is very fine and more akin to caster sugar as here UK . Smile
