Finally, you have listened to the viewers and last weekend was not a stack of any 1 or 2 chefs. It made a change for which I am sure we are all grateful.
Having had so much "stick" from us all I thought I would start a new topic to show that we had checked the listings before switching over and we appreciate you trying to make the effort for us.

Sorry to disapoint you but when I checked through the Sky guide last night it appears this weekend is a stack of Heavens Kitchen. Might only be a relatively new series but I certainly dont want to watch it repeated again so soon.

why can't there be more variety of chef programmes at the weekend instead of loads of Bourdoni bloke ,Rick stein, Heavens kitchen all those people who cook strange food anyway, what about more home cooking shows like Mary Berry,Sophie Grigson, Rachel Allen,Tamsin and Nigella. at least they cook normal food that amature family cooks like me can manage.

After actually praising the schedulers for last weekends listings, I am horrified to see the stacks cropping up again. Good job I am going away for a week. Saves me watching ANY TV at all.

I love watching Anthony Bourdain; Rick Stein; Nigel Slater and I always tune in when they show a full day of them. The only niggle I have is why there aren't any new series?

I also agree, I am actually watching this weekend! Must admit though, whoever got paid for that condescending, patronising, Schwartz commercial needs some time off, a long, long time off!

Additionally, why is this week end not devoted to irish food? there are many programmes, with different presenters that have travelled through some part and cooked irish food. With it being Patricks day weekend I would have taken that one to be almost as much of a no-brainer as stacks!

They could have put a stack of progarams with Irish chefs like Richar Corrigan,Rachel Allen,Paul Rankin,Clodagh Mckenna and even Tamsin who has some Irish in her. What has an English fop,s kitchen got to to do with St Patricks Day? Cheeky

Re the weekend - I was absolutely fed up with that Aussie programme with Aria, Belzak and Red Lantern. How many times have we seen that? Nothing to do with UKTV. Can we please put that to the back of the cupboard. Don't want it. How boring can it get. Enjoyed Mike Robinson though, he's always a joy!!! Typically English I suppose!!! The weekends don't get any better do they???
