I have at last found Pomegranate Molasse at Sainsburys. Now I can't find the recipe - can anyone help?

I can't think which recipe you want, all I can suggest is to type Pomegranate Molasse in the search bar, select messageboards, and look through the previous threads where people were talking about where to get it. Smile

Watching the Saturday kitchen repeat programme a couple of weeks ago, I am sure a lady ?Silvena Rowe, stuffed some poussins with various ingredients and I think pomegranate molasses was used then. Could that be the one? Having reminded myself I will go and look for the recipe.

Silvena is the Queen of pomegranate molasses, see [link] Love that recipe as well as her poussins. Her book , Supergrub has lots of pom molasses as well...

The recipe in the link was not a great success for us. I wouldn't use sweet potatoes again or bother with the pomegranate molasses and the pomegranage, I would use half the pomegranate seeds and crush the rest for juice. Very high fat content as well.

Salmon Kebabs with Pomegranate Molasses and Honey
from Forever Summer, Nigella Lawson is a great recipe, try that one, and the Warm Lamb Salad on this site. [link]

I have done the slow cooked shoulder of lamb. It is fabulous. I served it not with pomegranates, but with humouse, pitts bread and made it slightly middle eastern.

I did the chicken and pom molasses when SIlvena did it on BBC1 with AWT and everyone love it,this was tuly ambitions reciep for me as I dont cook very well, but found it easy to read and follow. Nice flavours, slighly sweet and sour...

Now I keep pom molasses in my kitchen just in case, its my new ingridient, I hadnt heard about it before seeing Silvena cooking with it.
