Saw the programme Stuart and both my husband and I thought your food should have taken you through, never mind you did really really well.

That has to have been the poorest and lowest standard round yet. Difficult decision for the judges as none of them should have been there in the first place. How bad can this get?

Being able to cook helps, no disrespect Carol, but neither of you did anywhere near the standard required. I would not even enter a competition I knew I had no chance in, and I couldn't keep drawing attention to failure afterwards if I did.

Stuart just remember that John said your chicken was great, he liked it and said so that has to true 'cos he is very quick to say if he doesn't like something!!

I really do question their decision making process. YES, being able to cook basic ingredients well is important, but I also think the Pro Chef round is important.

I don't think they take this into consideration as much as they should.

OK his bread was cut too thick but the idea was there and he was willing to use offal.

I was suprised nobody made a classic Chowder or even a Cullen Skink with those ingredients in the elimination round.
