If it is basics, then 'The No Frills Chef,' or 'Straightforward Chef,' would be less vulgar, lthough the latter might be difficult for some people to remember these days. Vulgarity seems to be the norm these days. HFW,must be the scruffiest, most patronising contributor to UK Food. He could shake hands with another double barrel Lawrence Llewlyn-Bowen. (I hope the spelling is correct.) Both refugees from Style Programmes. Blurgh

I like you nocturne you are funny to the point of nausier.

The naked chef that you find such obcenity with means that the recipes are stripped down to their basics and so are easy to follow.

HFW is a class act, even I like him to the point that I have had a meal at RCHQ and very nice it was too. He may be scruffy but please do not catorgarize him as a tv chef he is not.

Downsizer, writer, presenter, small holder, genius but not a tv chef.

There once was a man who used to frequent these boards by the name of Adrian who had the same blinkered view that you uphold fortunatly he no longer posts on here.
