Carol, you were fab, I really thought you had got the edge in the last round, but you did look really nervous initially. I guessed who you were when I first saw everybody coming in - don't know why but you looked just like I thought you would. Don't worry at all about how you came across, you were lovely and at least they didn't slate you like they can do sometimes - your fruit jelly looked lovely and your ravioli looked so professional - it just goes to show what we have been saying all along - you just never know why they vote for who they do!!

Well done girl Hug

Thank you Porridge.... I have to say the editors were very kind... they could have shown more of the bad points.. all in all, I am happy with what was shown... especially since the judges said mine was the best plate of food!!!!

Hi Carol... Good on ya girl, you did a fantastic job. Give yourself a pat on the back from me. So what if you looked a bit nervous, thats understandable, if I had been there I recon I would have thrown up. Lol! You must be very proud of yourself, I know I would be. I would have loved to have tasted your ravioli and the jelly, reminded me of a summers day. As porridge says,

Well done girl Big Grin Hug Hug

Hi again Carol, after watching the last two evening's editions, what a shame you weren't on one of those, you would have definitely got through then, as I don't think any of them particularly shone!

Thank you Porridge... I have had so much positive feedback I'm considering doing it all again?!?! Big Grin I was really interested in what the food knowledge section was last night as I wanted to see if I would have been any good. I would have been alright with most of it!!!! I wouldn't have been any good in the "why I want to be the MasterChef winner" section.... I just can't talk the talk... I just want to cook!

Isn't this now on a different channel? Why are you still posting about it here? Surely the old repeats that were shown on this chanel were ok to talk about here but this new series should be on a website where it is being shown and not on this website until it is repeated here, if it is.

The channel is called UK TV FOOD... and I think that is what we are all talking about, one way or another.

This section is called "What's on UKTV Food", look at the top of the page to see. The episodes you are talking about are NOT on UKTV Food.

What a petty mind you have Finest Linen, you might note that "Whats on UKTV Food", would not have a lot on at all if they didn't have programmnes made for the BBC and also by other channels. Very few of their programmes are made by or for UK Channel, but good on them, they have channels, including Food which I watch more than anything else.

So Carol did well? Of course she did, they all did. Carol didn't do well enough to get through, nor did lots of others.

That has to have been the poorest and lowest standard round yet. Difficult decision for the judges as none of them should have been there in the first place. How bad can this get?
