Have watched this series a couple of times and really loved it. Can anyone tell me how Jimmy is getting on and exactly where it is ?

When I was at the Xmas Good Food show in December, Essex Pig Company, with Jimmy and his girlfriend. I chatted to one of the staff who said that they were all getting on really well and that there would be another series in the new year updating us all on how they are getting on. In the meantime they have a website, www.essexpigcompany.co.uk which shows where they are etc.

I have to say i did not enjoy this porgramm - when it first came on i was all eyes watching but be fair how many young men / women that start up a farm in the hope of producing freash good food have Jamie Oliver as their "best" friend whose contacts mean that dear old Jimmy lad has had to lay out for nothing and has had all the best handed to him on a plate. Sorry give me a real man who has had to fight and do it by himself not a wannabe riding off the back of a celebrity - there is enough of them already.

Hi jvm1, ditto, ditto, what is wrong with taking the help of a friend be it a celebrity, or not , if they are happy to help. Jimmy and his crew work all hours and all weathers so they deserve their rewards.
