Oh Harryaa, how right you are, my husband and I comment EVERY time someone mentions a fried egg, Ainsley simply cannot keep his hands off them, I would be very cross if he did it to me because one of the joys of having a fried egg is breaking it and watching the yolk run.

It's crazy what jealousy can make people say. I think Ainsley is a great cook. He explains everything like that pepole who just begin in cooking can follow. If you are so great cook and if you hate him so much as a presenter why do you keep watching the program?? I am watching it everything and I am so happy to see him on tv cos he is a great man with a big heart.

I'm with you Mariannadu42. Love him, his enthusiasm, his joy of cooking, his passion. As for sheer entertainment value? no-one can beat him.

Just to let you folks know that I have done just that... I no longer watch the show, pity though because it was a good show but, as I say to others, if you don't like something then stay away whether it be a tv programme or a message board. All I say is some people are easily pleased and you obviously missed my point - I believe he IS a good chef - but I personally do not like being treated like an idiot nor his presenting style FOR THIS SHOW so I don't watch it any more.

I have just watched RSC with Fern and it was lovely, so quiet with no interruptions and the chefs were able to get on with cooking. I sent an official complaint to the BBC about the hygeine on RSC and was told it was an entertainment programme, not a cookery programme and they implied that hygeine was not important because of that. What do you think?

I must be honest, I do like Ainsley in everying BUT RSC, I find I scream at the tv when he will interfere with the food at the tasting time, and cut things up and push bits into the contestants mouths. I am sure he drives the chefs mad at times too!!
