Get Rid of Ainsley

Do you not think that the never listen to what the chefs try to explain Ainsley has now had enough time to annoy everyone who can and like to cook and would like to hear what the chefs say - what do I want with the princess or the guy who admits that he cannot cook, and the dolly who also has not clue but long nails and cannot cut a carrot......
Ainsley must learn to respect the chef and forget the 'guests' and the scandel stories.

Well, he is certainly not worst than Tamasin.... another one who must learn to respect true experienced chefs. In my viewpoint, UKTV Food should apply stronger requirements to comply with apart of "atypical-oriented cooking". Angry

I don't have any doubts about Ainsley's cooking skills - he is a good chef - but I just get so annoyed at his insistence on being so vociferous and taking centre stage, he actually pushes in front of both chefs and contestants and is so loud with it. I like to watch the chefs working with their own ideas.

I can't bear either Ainsley or Tamasin, why that woman can't tie her hair back when cooking I don't know and does Ainsley really think he's funny with his stupid voices and over the top actions - rant over.

Why do people hate Ainsley so much, I can't see why he can be annoying but he does seem genuinely a nice person.

As for Tamasin well I like her, the hair issue... well there's loads of people who don't tie their hair back, there are a few on GFL that don't for a start like Sophie Michell, Celia Brooks Brown and the other young girl... can't remember her name. But nobody ever says anything about them. At least Tamasin is cooking at home for herself, I don't tie my hair back if I'm cooking at home for myself but I would if I was cooking for others.

The "Tv Chef" who annoys me the most is Gordon Ramsey, great chef, bad attitude. I would dearly love to see him cut down to size by someone he has had a go at.

If your talking about ready steady cook I think all the chefs on that show have had there day its always the same recipes, rice stuffed in a red pepper or cous cous stuffed in a red pepper with abit of green stuff in it. Boring!!!!

I my self think ainsley is a great cook i just think hes a bit of a show of with his actions as for tasmin she is allright but shes not the best and keqqise is right about that hair issue she right her hair could be burnt in the stove or some of her hair could drop out and go in the food but also cvgale has a point not many people tie their hair back i have done it once or twice with out noticing but most of the time i tie it back also light i think you are right about gordon ramsey he is a bossy chef with a right old attituid problem and i think should at least try to be a bit nicier also some of the food he makes is not all that good i hope some one agrees with me Smile

i think ainsley has a great attitude towards cooking he makes cooking look so simple and very easy to follow, his recipes are never to fancy, are very tasty, and can be prepared in no time at all. I think thats why he appeals to most of us because of the busy lifestyles we have Smile

Ainsley is a genuinley nice person and to top it off a great chef and a better TV presenter than most. There is always the OFF button if you don't like him, what you are doing is spiteful and hurtful I hope there is nobody that dislikes you enough to start a get rid campaign. Angry

I agree, Ainsley is a bit of an all rounder that cooks and entertains on every show he appears on, however my wife cringes when he mentions "suzie salt and peter pepper"

I think Gordon Ramsey well over stepped the mark last night in Hells Kitchen with what he called the fella of larger size. Hasn't the man no people skills at all? The people are there to learn not be undermined and verbally abused, what I find even more amazing is the fact that no matter what he says to them they worship the ground he walks on.

I was just wondering why my comments about Ainsley had been removed from the message board, I dont think I was rude and i didn't say i disliked the man I just wish he could calm down, stop talking for a while and let the chefs speak for themselves. Liz

Ainsley should be dumped, Ready Steady Cook has not been the same since Fern left, at least she didn't spoon feed the contestants. I'm not saying Ainsley can't cook he just can't present. Don't let chefs host a cooking programme when they're not doing the cooking - fatal outcomes!!! Develish

I think that Ainsley is a fantastic chef, with a lovely bubbly personality, however i feel that he is getting worse. He goes way over the top, sucking up to the guests on his Meals In Minutes, and why does he talk about himself in the third person tense? I find his cooking great, but his manner embarassing. Sometimes he is nearly down the guests throats as he gets them to taste his food.

Funny thing I have noticed about Ainsley is that he cannot abide seeing an intact fried egg. His almost indecent haste to cut them before the contestants can get to them has to be seen to be believed Confused
