In Chings recipe she doesn't say when you add the blended ingredients from section one of the method. Anyone any ideas? I assume that the curry paste in section 2 is the curry paste from the chicken thigh section.

She also fails to include Basil leaves in her recipe. Thai aint Thai without the Basil.

The blended ingredients is actually the curry paste. But Thai people don't add no lime juice in the paste, and certainly no beansprout in their curry. In thai green curry the most important veg is small eggplant but can be replace by aubergine. And to make curry paste you would also need a small amount of shrimp paste, but I think it would be easier to by a ready made curry paste.
Believe me I'm Thai!
