I would go with milk as the other two options are both fruit based when you already have two fresh fruits as ingredients. The milk will offer different important minerals e.g calcium rather than a third helping of Vitamin C.

Maybe an extra ingredient too - vanilla, ground almonds, or a small bit of banana.

Hi jintyblue -

I think you really need to add some cream or yogurt to give it some substance, but there are quite a few recipes on site which you could check.

Type Smoothie in the search for box at the left hand side of the page, make sure Recipes is showing, then click on Go.

Jinty - not all smoothies contain dairy - if I was you I'd make one with milk, one with OJ and the other with cranberry juice - not all necessarily on the same day, then decide which I preferred. Happy mixing. Smile

You can always add apple juice to most juices / smoothies to make the drink go further without adding another strong flavour. If i want a non-dairy smoothie, but want it to have some bulk, I add a little banana. Strawberry and kiwi is a classic combination - enjoy!

Water melon is good and grapfruit or pineapple, and agree that not all smoothies have dairy, in fact I never have ones with dairy.
