We have spent many a happy evening eating baby back ribs off the barbecue in the US but I can't find them here. Worse, we live in Northern Ireland where some ingredients are even harder to access. Any ideas anyone? Confused

Go to a quality butcher....I'm sure if they will get some in if they don't stock them normally. Also, try a farm shop.

Cwat, I would just use the normal belly pork we get here, really lovely, not sure what you had with the baby ribs but just do some honey and chilli and oh my god my mouth is slavering lol

It is definitely the pork loin you need, if you look at almost any recipe for baby back ribs it tells you to use pork loin ribs. Good luck.

Hi everybody who has posted replies. Thanks for all your helpful comments. I will try the butcher for pork loin ribs. Ainsley has a great recipe for BBQ ribs in his barbecue bible, using maple syrup and cayenne pepper with some other stuff which is just fantastic. Anyone who likes BBQ ribs should really try it. Smile Smile
