Hi Lotte, lovely to hear from you, and I agree with everything you say, there really is no need for all this. But as long as the moderators allow or even encourage it by not doing anything about it, it can only get worse. Yet simple thank yous to people are deleted, and all the timewasting threads are able to take over. Not a food site or even very much to do with GFL unless it is to critisise. There seem to be hardly any quetions and answers here, just self opinionated comments.

Dear Lotte - Richard may be a fabulous person and Ok for lots of other types of show, just not GFL. I know you have to stick up for presenters but the show's managers definitely got this one completely wrong. And yes presenters do a difficult job and most of the time get it right.

Criticism is the disapproval of people not for having faults but for having faults that are different from your own. To all these people who pick on others, you should look at yourselves before you criticise others. We may only have supervisors looking at our work but these presenters have millions who are looking and listening and it is mean to be so critical publically. We, after all are anonymous, using silly names to be known, but they are known to the world, they should not be publically criticised the way they are, it is cruel and inhuman and it has the stench of bullying!!

I'd like to see Lottie Duncan as the stand in presenter when Jeni is absent.

Yes, I agree Louisa60, she is an excellent chef with great ideas and has a very good, self-effacing sense of humour.
