I heard the other day that Jeni is leaving GFL for mainstream TV...please say it isn't true! It just wouldn't be the same without her

Was in the audience last Friday (me and hubby were chocolate tasters!!) and got to meet Jeni...what a lovely lady, she's exactly how she is on TV, infact even more so! AND tinier than you could imagine!

I have been to TV recordings before, but have never been made to feel part of everything as much as I was on GFL.

So do I! She at least is honest about what she tastes! It will need to be someone who is comfortable with live TV and all it entails....it's not enough to just keep saying 'it's lovely' I just can't think of anyone else who would fit the bill

It would be a real shame if Jeni did leave, albeit to further her career (something we cannot deny her). Am not as keen on GFL with other presenters they just do not have the same rapor with the chefs as Jeni does.

perhaps she will come on something we already watch on terrestrial so we can still hear about Jim - how about Jeni as a replacement for Ainsley on Ready Steady Cook? And Lotte for a replacement for Jeni on GFL?

I hope Jeni is not leaving the show, her banter and sense of fun are why I turn the tv on at lunchtime when I pop home for my lunch break.

well she did just mention today that she was off for a couple of days and Richard Arnold will co host with Paul Hollywood. Now thats going to be very funny. I think he is really hilarious.
But still hope she doesnt go forever, although Lotte would be a fantastic host

Don't think it's particularly to do with a 'food' related show on terrestial...daytime/lunchtime chat type stuff. Maybe she will make 'guest' appearances back on GFL but it will take an awful lot to make me watch daily without her

No one could take her place! Even when she is on holiday, I have withdrawal symptoms!!

just got sky back on after a year. missed GFL the most. thats just my luck if Jeni leaves...... she just makes the show. she's unique!

i really hope its not true, i couldn't think of a replacement for jeni cos there is no-one, well maybe paul hollywood but thats because he is a super hunk, with a sense of humour, and he would get away with it, but i can't think of anyone female that is as enthusiastic as jeni who isn't a chef/cook (i don't think a chef/cook would be a good replacement, look at ainsley on ready steady cook)just my opinion

I belive that no one can replace Jeni and I hope the programme does not go down the pan so to speak. Hope Jeni's career will go strength to strength.

Jeni is, as many others have already said, GFL/GFB. She is fantastic and makes it enjoyable and keeps me laughing. Especially with this diet thing. It is so brave of her to do it so publically. She laughs at herself constantly. It would not be the same without her!

I love jeni on the sho, and she always has such a great rapport with all the guests on the show. It will be a shame to see her go, she will be sadly missed

We hope that Jeni doesn't leave my husband and kids(four of them) all love curling up and watching Great food live at 6pm after dinner!!! I've even found my hubby sat waching the 10pm repeat.She really holds your attention and she loves food which is what its all about.jac

I can only agree with the rest of you. Jeni IS GFL and it absolutely wouldn't be the same without her. We watch every evening whilst preparing dinner and would be devastated to see her go.
