Confused Am looking for a recipe for biscuits using Kelloggs All-Bran it used to appear on the side of the packet in the 60's, it was great and healthy. Kelloggs UK cannot help and the US site are using two Kelloggs products where before it was just one. They also talk about an all purpose flour. What is all purpose flour, plain or self raising?
Can anyone help me.
Thanks Cleverclogs

Do you mean they are saying All Bran OR All Bran Bran Buds? I remember both and it was only the shape that was different, the All Bran was the little worms and the Buds were... well like buds, but the same content.

All purpose flour is plain flour. Good Luck. Smile

cleverclogs, I've found a recipe for cheese savoury biscuits and a bran fruit loaf both using All Bran in my Mum's old hand-written cookbook. She was keen on All Bran!
Do you want either of the recipes?
