I have been looking for a recipe for coating pop-corn, especially a coating similar to Butterkist. Can anyone help. I would be grateful as we have bought our granddaughter a pop corn machine and I would like a recipe to go with it.

Melt some butter, golden syrup anda pinch of salt in a pan(be as generous as you like with the amounts), pour over the popped corn, stir thoroughly, tip onto baking tray, bake in low oven for about 15 mins, leave to cool - absolutely scrummy. Just like Toffee Popcorn. If you add a drop of vanilla flavouring or almond flavouring and stir in some nuts as well, its even better.

I can't help with the pop corn recipie..but welcome alien and billylittlefeet to the boards.
