Hi,
We usually have goose for Christmas, but my daughter has asked for turkey this year. What is the best one to get? Is there a difference in the taste of the normal turkeys and the brown turkeys (or is that a fig?) and are there any others?

Thanks all. Smile

Eves we had a bronze turkey last year for the first time and it was lovely completely different taste from a white one. Yes i would definitely recommend having one not cheap but well worth the extra.

Hi Pam22, that's interesting to know, where did you get it? I'd like to give it a try Smile

Hi Pam22. Thanks. Can you get them in supermarkets like Sainsburys or Tesco?

You can get a bronze turkey from Waitrose or Marks and Spencer. They have a catologue out at the moment. We had a crown last year but it is better to have the whole bird! Smile

Yes we buy ours from Sainsburys, you can also buy Kelly Bronze turkeys on line. Just type in Kelly Bronze and the web site should come up.
