A big hit when we have an informal bash at home is a baking tray covered in Nacho's, corn chips (you know the type of thing I mean ) - smother it in Old El Paso salsa (you can get mild or hot) and then copious amounts of grated cheddar on top - just stick it under the grill and then straight on the table. Dead easy and everyone loves it...

Thin slices of Papaya wrapped in Parma ham, with a dressing of lime juice mixed with a tsp of sugar..
My favourite nibble is dates stuffed with pineapple cheese, & japanese rice/seaweed crakers are good

Cut a red pepper in half, put one large teaspoon pesto in each half, top with a slice of Halloumi chees, stick in oven for half and hour. Lovely
