UKTV Food celebrates it's third birthday this week. Have you been here since the beginning, or are you a recent convert? Tell us about the changes you've seen in the channel over the past three years and what changes - if any - you'd like to see? Let us know your thoughts and memories.

Happy Three Years GFL. I have been taking part on the website since about August and I love it. I do not always have time to join in everyday but love to catch up when I can. Have had some good tips and advice from this. Also have to say of course that I love GFL prog and all the lovely food they prepare. Also have had a couple of phone calls offering me tickets for the Friday show and unfortunatley have been unable to go as other committments, but the lovely staff that ring sound so pleasant and they still keep me on their books. I will get there one day though. Smile Smile Smile

Happy Birthday to you!!!

I have been watching for a couple of years and been on the website for about a year. Like the new set, very easy on the eye and good views of the food. How about a piece on food prep? Have had some questions answered and been on a live phone in, so overall I like the format, the people at GFL are friendly and Jeni is like a champagne cocktail, namely, bubbly and invigorating. Here's to the future, cheers! Smile

Happy Birthday UKTV Food!

I think, by the sounds of it, I must have started watching about two years ago and, in my opinion, the channel is developing well. I like the longer viewing hours, although I don't watch it for all of those! I do, I must confess, watch it all day though. As such I have seen a vast improvement in the repeats situation. I is good to see that we are not subjected to ex amount of shows being shown in a day, and then the whole thing repeated later in the day - I am grateful for that! Keep on developing! (But please no more 'Deck Dates' type progs???!!!)

Hi, I started watching GFL on the 1st aniversary. It was my life saver and actually inspired me to start my own business.
I was on maternity leave awaiting the birth of Ben who is now two.
So now I have three babies Ben 2 Katie 1 and Relish The Continental 10 months old.
So a big thanks to GFL and all the producers, presenters and chefs who make it a great programme to watch and the boards to meet great people, some of whom I now consider to be the closest of friends.
BTW, the very 1st programme I watched was when Jeni took us round the studio and showed us behind the scenes.
It was really fun especially when you all piled onto the food at the end of the show.
Could we have more of that please.
So Happy Birthday and a big thanks from me!!
Cheers Big Grin

Thanks very much for all your comments. Keep letting us know what we're doing wrong and what we're doing right as it is your channel after all!

And don't forget to tune into the GFL special tomorrow at 6pm. Smile

Happy Birthday GFL!! It has made my cooking more interesting and the compliments flow.
It is my wedding anniversary tomorrow so hopefully there will be something scummy to cook.
Best recipe so far is Fillet of Beef wrapped in herbs and bacon by Ed Baines
