Hi

I wonder if anyone here can help me. I have just returned to the UK (Berks) from living out in the US for 4 years. Out In the states I became a big fan of Italian/Greek Mild Pickled Peppers called Pepperoncini. Does anyone know if they are available in the UK, and if so could you point me in the direction of a stockist? I've been searching high and low for a month now but have only found slightly smaller peppers that packed a wallop and burned the roof of my mouth off!!!

Many thanks

G

Hi Greg4

I was about to tell you about the small pickled peppers which i'm afraid i don't know the name of but i think thay may be the ones you have tried but i have seen something regarding the name Pepperoncini (not sure if it is the same name) but i have seen them in Morrisons on the pickles aslie(obviously) Tongue I haven't tried them myself but they do look very tasty....

Where abouts in the States were you living??
I am moving to Ohio in January, finally i have a date after they who can not be named have messed my husband and i about for the past 7 months.

Do you have any tips for me about out there???

would be grateful

Thanks
Rachel

Hi Rachel - Thanks, i'll check out Morrisons!

I was living out in New York, travelled around a fair bit but not to Ohio unfortunatley.

About the best tip I could give you would always be to look at the diet section of any restaurant menu - the normal portions are always far far too big, and the food in general is cheaper and tastier than in the UK - so it's easy to put on a lot of weight quickly if you're not careful!!!
