I missed most of today's show (hope to catch the repeat later tonight if I can stay awake) but I did manage to see Lotte's delicious Oxford Sausage Toad-in-the-hole. Lotte got the pork mince from Foxbury Farm, which is only up the road to me and I highly recommend it. It has a great farm shop and they have excellent produce - they have their own butchery onsite (which you can see from the shop if you are not too faint hearted). Their website is: www.foxburyfarm.co.uk/

One of the other products Lotte mentioned was a mustard from Shaken Oak, a company based in Hailey, one of the neighbouring villages to me - they too have a website: www.shakenoak.co.uk

The only thing I missed is where Lotte got the cheese in the hamper from - was it The Oxford Cheese Company can someone tell me?

I think Lotte is wonderful. Want to try her toad in the hole soon. She always looks so cool and wears lovely clothes..and I love her recipies.Smile

I know I go on about some other chefs all the while..but I really do cook from scratch most days..and did Lotte's baked onions yesterday..and they were beautiful. Hug

Hi cheesey, as you are tapping away all day you must only cook from scratch with one hand, I only have one hand. Could you send over an easy one handed recipe for pesto rosso for my tea tonight?? thanks a lot, you are a very nice person

Now that the troll is safely in bed, can anyone help with the cheese Lotte had on the show yesterday? I think it was called Isis Cheese and was smoked? Looked like a camembert.

Georgie, if you don't get your answer beforehand, I see that yesterdays GFL is repeated 7.30am on Monday, maybe you could catch it or record it then.

Hi Georgie, hope you are well, not a lot of immediate help but I am fairly sure I have seen that cheese in Costco. I may be there over the weekend so I will check for it.

Hi Georgie..........

You say the nicest things about me - thank you. In fact all of you are just lovely!

I picked up the cheese from The Oxford Cheese Company in the Covered Market in Oxford....the most wonderful place. We did a bit of filming there for one of the How to Shop Vt' and they sponsor my Cookery Demonstration Days.

Anyway, if you go on to my website, you can get the contact details and website....but if in Oxford, do pay them a visit. Pat usually works there and she is a star.

By the way, I am setting up some three day Oxford Foodie holidays at the moment. I have linked up with a wonderful friend of mine, whom I used to work in the Oxford restaurants with. He has a very luxurious B&B in Oxford and over three days we will feed you, demonstrate for you, take you on food and history tours of Oxford. If you are interested, contact me through my website.....

I'm a big fan of Lotte too and enjoyed looking at the website - thanks for posting the address. In a world of dreary "brown is the new black is the new navy", Lotte's jolly floral blouses and funky jewellery brighten up GFL no end!! New to posting on this site, but been a GFL watcher for ages!
