After watching Ed Baines prepare his Venison & Stilton pie, I decided to have a go and it was a dream. I panicked a little because none of my local supermarkets stocked venison. However, my daughter suggested that I try my town meat and fish market and there I was successful in my quest. It was not cheap, mind, but the meal was wonderful and my guests now think that I am a superb cook. For dessert, I prepared Silvana Franco's Berry Trifle which was absolutely delicious - another resounding success. Thanks to your program for hours of entertainment and learning.

Hi Marion, Please forgive me because I didn't quite get the right title for the recipe which is actually "Venison Stilton & Beer Pie", the beer being a very important ingredient. If you search under the recipes and then under Ed Baines, you should find it on the page which covers his recipes 111-120. The ingredients combine together to give the most delicious flavours. Hope you find it OK now.
