On Wednesday's Good Food Live we'll be celebrating the Great British classic Afternoon tea. Joe Wadsack tucks in in style at the Dorchester and patissier Paul Young updates it with his exotic and fruity twist of sweet mango sushi, watermelon and ginger soup and pistachio, lavender and champagne bakewells then Antiques expert Madeline Marsh gives us a tea-time history lesson.

We'd love to know your favourite teatime treats, is it scones, chocolate eclairs, fairy cakes, pancakes, ginger bread, fruit loaf or good old cucumber sandwiches.

We look forward to hearing from you.

My favourite tea-time treat is hot thick toast (made with home-made bread)with melted butter. A close second comes scones with strawberry jam and cream.

I remember Saturdays as a young girl, my Mum would make bread, you would smell it proving all afternoon and then for tea we would have hot homemade bread smothered in butter followed by malt loaf - yummy! Even now the smell of new baking bread reminds me of those Saturday afternoons! Now I like toasted crumpets with peanut butter or melted cheese.

What I love about an afternoon tea treat is coffee and walnut cake (and a really good slice of it)!! plus a cup of good strong coffee to keep going till teatime. I simply love cake and coffee in the afternoon. Big Grin Big Grin

Oh give me scones, sweet or savoury, warm & squidgy.. but most importantly how to produce them for a one-person portion (about 3 scones) Any uncooked scone-dough freezable recipes?.. or any scone recipes that are good cooked & gone cold.

A Large Espresso and a slice of Millefeuille (french one though, so as not too much cream, but just enough to make you dribble )
