Hi sorry if this has been done..I did search for it on here but couldn't find what I was looking for! Big Grin

I adore white wine....drink it by the vat load! I would also love to adore cocktails..but am somehow allergic to alot of 'hard' spirits that are included in so many cocktails,(one slug of tequila and I pass out..yet 15 bottles of wine and I'm fine..go figure!! Big Grin)

I just wondered if anyone had any good cocktail recipies using white wine? I have one or two in a cocktail book..but frankly..they weren't that exciting..and wondered if any of you lovely people had discovered your own white wine cocktails over the years..which you could share with me so I can have something a bit different for a change?

No champagne ones though...I love champagne more than anything in the world, and as I have it only occasionally...I never want to add anything to it..and just like to savour the taste all on it's own! Big Grin

Life is too short to mix champagne is my motto! Wink

add red square and 1 shot of southern comfort to the white wine(cheaper and sweet wine is best) with loads of ice, this will get you drunk but you not get a hangover from it Blurgh

Thanks..but can't do southern comfort either! I used to..(When i was younger) until my..*out of the blue*..allergy!

I am okay with wines, schnapps, martinis, archers, cinzano's, cider(love it!), champagne, and all soft drinks...I am a bit strange..sorry but you'll get used to me! Big Grin (I hope!Smile)

On the food front I can eat and cook anything..so I had to be quirky somewhere! Big Grin

Hi brie, I agree with your comment about champagne but why not buy a cheaper sparkling wine - Cava is good and mix with mango juice to make a mango bucks fizz - or fresh mango pulped to make a mango bellini

Add Chasiss (Chassis s/p? ) and make a Kir, or with sparkling wine and make Kir Royale
