Does anyone have this recipe which featured this week on 'The Best'. Tried everywhere to get it. Looked absolutely delicious.

Hi i wrote it down so a bit sketchy!

Pour boiling water over skin, dry completely, pierce holes and rub in Five Spice, Spiced Paprika ( Sainsbury's have it in the Special Section £1.49 a pot), and salt.

Put in oven at 220 degrees for 10 mins and then turn oven down to 180 degrees for a further 30 mins

But i am waiting for the actual recipe though, hope this helps

Here's what I got before I got distracted with something else. Thanks to Jo for catching the cooking time!

Silvana's Chinese Style Barbecued Pork

(for a dinner party on a budget, takes less than an hour)

1 pork belly with skin on
one rectangular baking pan with rack on top
skewer
traditional Chinese 5 spice

Lie the pork belly with skin on top. Pierce it every inch or so with the skewer.
This will help to get it very crunchy in the end. Place the pork belly on the rack
over the baking pan. Pour boiling water over it.
Remove the rack from the dish and pour out water. Then dab pork
with dry towel to remove excess water. Sprinkle a couple spoonfuls of the
Chinese 5 spice ove the pork, a bit of salt, add a taste of smoked paprika.

I have also found since that if you mix with Olive Oil and baste it onto chicken thighs that have been slashed, it's great with rice or cous cous
