Am looking to find out the recipes that were used on this series, that is currently being repeated on UKTV Food over the summer...thanks!

jemstone - you won't find recipes from The Best on this site because of copyright.

Lots of recipes on the BBCFood site by all 3 chefs, mainly Saturday Kitchen and Ready Steady Cook. Only 2 recipes from The Best.
Use the link below, select The Best from the programme menu and search. However, there are only 6 recipes.

I have just purchased the book from Amazon that accompanied the programme it has all the recipes in it.

Just checked ceefax page 542, no recipes, Film Reviews. Recipes are on pages 560-1-2, but they are from Ready Steady Cook.

The book is called "The Best" after the programme.

I have the book too and I must say it is one of my favourites. It has every single recipe from the series which I think is great and some lovely pictures to make you want to cook them. I loved the series and the way the chefs made it all look so quick and easy.
