my husband is very fond of the cakes"almond slices"a pastry base, jam then an almondy cake mixture and almond slices on top.Ive tried to recreat these several times but have never got them anywhere near the ones he buys from Amerton farm in Rugeley,can any one offer any tips or their recipes?

Hi, if you put almond slices in the search bar you will get about 9 different things-try out the Bakewell Pudding (putting flaked almonds onto it instead of the pine nuts...)
