how do u cook it on the cooker in a pot

yip, put some oil in there too, to avoid burning also do it on a low heat, it will take longer but cooks without leaving too many kernels

You need a large, lidded saucepan (preferably not your best one!). Put it on a high heat, with about a dessertspoon of oil and get it hot. Throw in a handful of popping corn, put the lid on and give it a good shake. when you begin to hear it pop, give it another shake (make sure the lid is firmly (or held) on cos popcorn shooting out at you CAN burn!) and then keep listening and shaking if need be, until the popping stops. As soon as it does, take it off the heat and empty the popcorn out into a bowl and flavour as you will. Hope this helps.

Instead of putting oil in the pot you can use margarine that does not have milk in it (here in the California I use Nucoe brand). If using butter you might add a bit of oil to keep it from burning.

a method i use for cooking popcorn is in a microwave - 2oz butter and 2 oz kernels in a casserole dish for about 5mins
