I went out looking for Pak and Bok Choi at Sainsburys, but they had never even heard of it. I normally buy it at our Chinese Supermarket (When I get DCF food) and I just thought it would be easier to get it at a Supermarket, but who else can get it at a Supermarket and Which one??

Cheers

Nick

Hi Nick, well thats wierd cos I just had a look at sainsbury's online and they have pak choi (chinese mustard cabbage) on there and choi sum, looks similar, and chinese leaf lettuce. I would tell them to go have a look properly, its sounds to me like they all talk chinese down there!!!

I know it isn't much use to you Nick but Morrisons have just started to stock it in Whitley Bay, but I have bought it at Sainsburys up here before that.

No use to man nor beast but I buy mine in Sainsbury's and love the stuff - lightly steamed and served with Thai spiced salmon and stir fry veg, yummy!

Rats, Morrison beaten on price, I don't think I can take much more of this, and being now known as limp Terry too.

Well I almost resisted.

For about 10 seconds anyhow.

Ahhh poor limp Terry, of course the pak choi could go by weight, so just to give you a chance of redeeming yourself and Morrisons..............

Tesco.com

Pak Choi 200g £1.12 (£5.60/kg)

Oh Rustie they didn't have a weight on them, I checked, I did think that it was bit odd not to have £/kg. Unusual these days not to do that so will check again. I just have this hollow badly let down feeling. My favourite supermarket too.
