love the show, always interesting guests and jeni is just plain fab. i have a question about creme brulees, a few i have tried recently have tasted very eggy, and with a slightly lumpy texture? what is going wrong? too much egg, heat or not enough sugar? thank you jennifer

Both of my children grew up with Jane Asher birthday cakes. (the best of all was when my daughter was 7 - I made the 7 dwarfs in bed!) Her books were and still are amazing. I just wanted to say a big thank you to her!

My daughters' favourite was the pussy cat cake, in fact Jeni mentioned it last year on GFL. I had to make it for her about 4 years in a row when she was little, but last year, during the summer break of GFL not only was it my daughters 19th birthday, but she also passed all her first year law exams, so I made the pussy cat cake for her then, but I made it as a chocolate cake with cherry filling.

Wonder if she will want one again this year......

Hi Jenny, a question for Michel,
i have heard that a restuarant is as good as its' creme brulee, what are the things to look for? one of the top restuarants on the island(Jersey) cooks a creme brulee with a delicate bruleed top but with an almost cake like texture underneath.
your 2 live shows are so full of interesting items everyday it must be amazing hard work for all.
