Does anybody have an interesting way of using celeriac as a side dish, to serve with steak. It's my boyfriend's birthday tomorrow and he fancies celeriac and has bought some, he is having a steak tomorrow night and I need an interesting way of cooking the celeriac (not using cream).
Thanks

only thing I can think of to do with celeriac is to either do a puree, a mash , gratin/bake. Usually mixed with potatofor extra body.
you could try cutting them into tagliatelle shapes and either blanch them and mix with a sauce or deep fry them.
haven't tried it myself yet so can't say how it might turn out.

Porridge you could make it into chips and deep fry or into fritters (ie coat in batter and fry) Smile
